Alternative energy vehicles are the clear future of motoring. This initiative is being spearheaded, currently, by EVs. Motor manufacturers are rapidly increasing their line-up of electric vehicles From the largest, well-established manufacturing including BMW and Ford to new names such as Byton.
According to Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) have experienced huge growth in the last 12 months, rising from 4,054 vehicles on the road to 6,260 vehicles in 2021 – a 54.4% growth – this statistic is set for further increase in the coming years.
